Salvation Mountain is an extraordinary art installation located in the Colorado Desert of                                                     California,  near the town of Niland. Created by Leonard Knight, this vibrant and                                                                 colorful hillside tribute spans over fifty feet in height and 150 feet in width.                                         It is made from adobe, straw, and thousands of gallons of paint. 
                        The mountain is adorned with murals and Bible verses, primarily focusing on the                                                  theme of God's love, with "God is Love" prominently displayed. The site has become                                                      a symbol of creativity, faith, and community, attracting visitors from all over the world                             who come to admire its unique beauty and the powerful message of love and acceptance it conveys.
This is the first stop when visiting Slab City,making it a unique and must-see landmark for visitors to the area.
